Renata Ameni

Executive Pastry Chef, Crown Shy

Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Renata moved to New York City in 2010 and landed a job at the iconic Jean-Georges Restaurant as a pastry cook. One year later, she began a five-year tenure at Eleven Madison Park, rising from cook to sous chef before ultimately succeeding her mentor Angela Pinkerton as the head of the pastry department.

 

After 7 years in New York, she moved to Los Gatos, California where she joined the 3 Michelin-star Manresa as executive pastry chef. After almost 2 years there, she moved back to NYC to join The Restaurants at 70 Pine.
