Cookies for Kids’ Cancer is a nonprofit that funds critical research for the development of pediatric cancer treatments that are less-toxic and more effective.
When it comes to kids’ cancers, we‘re not satisfied with the current treatment options. We’re committed to funding breakthrough research for treatments that let kids beat cancer without destroying their bodies. Our focus is on creating a future where children can win their fight and still have a childhood.
Our Mission:
Committed to raising funds for research to develop new, improved and less toxic treatments for pediatric cancer —the #1 disease killer of children in the U.S.
Our Vision:
No family is ever told “we have run out of options.”
Since 2008, we’ve funded cutting-edge research at the nation’s leading pediatric cancer centers. Every dollar is reviewed and distributed by our Medical Advisory Board to ensure it supports the most promising, effective treatments for kids fighting cancer.
Funded in the U.S.
Every research grant represents progress. Not every project becomes a treatment, but many reshape how doctors understand childhood cancer and spark breakthroughs that follow. Each grant moves us closer to a future where every child has access to better, safer options.
We’re a recognized leader in funding research that becomes real treatments for kids with cancer. Of the eight FDA-approved therapies developed specifically for children, we helped fund three. While not all 60 treatments are still active, each one has given hope — and more options — to families who once had too few.
And we're just getting started.
Pushing Boundaries. Raising Standards.
We fund the science that moves the needle. Every grant we award supports cutting-edge research at the nation’s leading hospitals — projects designed to develop new, improved and less toxic treatments for kids with cancer.
Our Partner Centers
Our world-class Medical Advisory Board made up of some of the best minds in the world who rigorously assess, identify and fund the most promising research available. We partner with the top research institutions in the country to ensure that good research results in better, less toxic treatments for kids.
How We Work
Every cookie ordered, dollar donated and event hosted fuels the fight against childhood cancer. Your support provides the critical funding needed to drive discovery, turning compassion into progress. Together, we create the spark that makes groundbreaking research possible.
Our Medical Advisory Board — made up of the nation’s top pediatric oncologists — reviews every research proposal we receive. They identify the studies with the greatest potential to become effective treatments for kids with cancer. Every decision is rooted in science, strategy and measurable impact.
Once funding is granted, researchers and doctors use it to develop new, improved and less toxic treatments for kids with cancer. These discoveries move from the lab to real-world care, in the shortest amount of time, giving more children the chance to grow up healthy.
Ivy
Ivy is two years old and was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in the summer of 2025. Despite beginning her second round of chemo, she continues to fill every room with joy, laughter and strength far beyond her years. She loves playing doctor, cooking in her play kitchen and trying on mom’s makeup — constant reminders of how resilient kids can be and why research for safer treatments is so critical.
Ben
Ben was diagnosed with stage 3 Wilms tumor at age 3½ and treated at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. After relapsing just three months post-treatment, he faced another year of chemo and radiation — and won. Now 12 and cancer-free for over six years, Ben has raised more than $35,000 for childhood cancer research and hopes to become an oncologist one day.
Paislee
In July 2022, Paislee was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and began treatment immediately. A few weeks later, a bacterial infection from well water sent her into stage 4 septic shock, turning her recovery into a fight for her life. After months in the ICU, Paislee is now thriving and proudly rang her bell in 2024 — a true miracle and reminder of the importance of awareness.
