For nearly two decades, OXO has been a dedicated partner in the fight against pediatric cancer, helping fund critical research and support families facing a diagnosis. Known for creating thoughtfully designed products that make everyday life easier, OXO has remained deeply committed to advancing safer, more effective treatments for children.
OXO’s connection to this cause runs deep. In 2007, when two‑year‑old Liam Witt, the son of two OXO employees, was diagnosed with childhood cancer, his coworkers and the wider OXO family rallied to help. What began as a grassroots effort baking and selling 96,000 cookies to support research became the spark that ignited Cookies for Kids’ Cancer — a national nonprofit inspiring grassroots fundraisers dedicated to closing the funding gap for childhood cancer research.
In 2011, OXO formalized its support, pledging to donate up to $100,000 annually to Cookies for Kids’ Cancer and to lead campaigns that mobilize others to join the fight.
Through its Bake A Difference campaign, OXO empowers communities globally to fundraise during National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and beyond:
Together with its partners and supporters, OXO’s sustained engagement has helped:
OXO’s long-standing commitment shows how purpose and brand can come together to make a measurable impact — mobilizing employees, customers and communities to raise funds, awareness and hope for children and families affected by cancer.
