Summer is here and we’ve got good news, the Good Cookie Challenge is back!  You’ve got goals and we’ve got goals. Together, we’re crushing them!

If a traumatic experience occurred in your life would you run away or would you face it and continue to fight for others? I chose to face it.

Volunteering isn’t about checking a box on a college application (although it can definitely help with that too!). We checked in with 10th grader Sophia Lehmann who has been involved with Cookies for Kids’ Cancer since she was four years old!

We tapped three of our top women fundraisers for their best bake sale tips and strategies.

To date, we’ve granted over $21 million, funding over 130 research projects that have resulted in 25 treatments and clinical trials available to children today. These grants are the result of support from thousands of passionate people from every state and 24 countries who believe in our mission of funding the most promising research for new, improved and less toxic therapies for pediatric cancer.

If there is a word that sums up 2023 it would be perseverance.

We recently spoke with Maci Belle, Mom to Luna and Aspen, to talk about motherhood, childhood cancer awareness, life after child loss, parenting, photography, creativity and so much more.

In March 2011, 2 1/2 year old Haldora was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Given only a 70% chance of surviving the next 5 years, she endured countless treatments and procedures – she was quite a fighter. Through it all her top supporter and twin brother, Hunt, was by her side, making her laugh and encouraging her to play and have fun. He wasn’t going to let cancer take away his sister. We checked in with Hunt to find out how he’s making a difference in the world of pediatric cancer and so much more.

The Cookie That Started It All … Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies – Chocolate Chip Cookies are universal favorites at bake sales, but this recipe was developed specifically for Cookies for Kids’ Cancer’s first bake sale–the 96,000 cookie one.

Beth Robertson,the Manager of Community Outreach at Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, shares her story of son Cameron’s pediatric cancer diagnosis as a baby and why that experience changed her and her family forever. Beth has since committed her life to raising funds for childhood cancer research that has the strongest science behind it and the best chance of getting from a research lab to a child’s bedside in the shortest time frame possible.
