One Dozen Box

Our sweet Maxwell was diagnosed with stage IV high risk neuroblastoma at 16 months. Childhood Cancer was not on our radar, as I’m sure it is not for many families that are not directly impacted by it.

Max woke up every day with a brave face and a big smile. He was always the strongest - even on the days when we couldn’t be. Max taught everyone around him how to be strong, smile and be happy through it all. He loved music, dancing, his “Ellies”, Jack Skellington, basketball and anything that involved his big brother Cole.

Max fought long and hard for 2 years – he had 10 surgeries (with 3 being craniotomies) and went through countless chemo and immunotherapies. We had many ups and downs throughout treatment, but always believed Max would beat this disease. Sadly, we lost our beautiful boy in March this year. Cancer may have taken our son, but it can never take the beautiful spirit that he is or the positive impact he had on so many people.

One of the hardest things we learned through all of this is that there is not enough funding to provide the type of research that is needed to help kids like our son live the long lives they deserve. A lot of the “innovative” treatments Max received were over decades old. We can and must do better for our kids.

Guittard semi-sweet chocolate, unbleached wheat flour, pure cane sugars, butter, eggs, grape juice, rice dextrins, sea salt, pure vanilla extract, baking soda.

NOTE: These cookies are made in a facility that uses peanuts, tree nuts, milk, and soy. Trace amounts of these allergens may be in any of our cookies. Please note that natural grain dextrins and fruit juices keep the cookies moist without adding preservatives.

Cookies are baked and shipped Monday - Thursday each week. All orders placed by 11 a.m. EST will be baked and shipped by the following day. All orders placed AFTER 11 a.m. EST on Thursdays will be baked and shipped the following Monday.
