How to Earn Volunteer Hours for School
Volunteer hours are a key requirement for many schools and scholarship programs, but finding a meaningful and fun way to earn them can be a challenge. Cookies for Kids’ Cancer offers a great opportunity for students to give back while making a real impact in the fight against childhood cancer.
Start a Club
Many students have launched Cookies for Kids’ Cancer clubs, organizing bake sales and fundraising events to support pediatric cancer research. These clubs give students the opportunity to develop leadership skills, work together for a cause and engage their community in meaningful action—all while earning valuable volunteer hours.

Log and Verify Your Hours
Keep track of your volunteer hours by documenting your activities with photos, event summaries, and any required forms. If your school has a verification process, make sure to follow it—this might include logging hours online or having a teacher, club advisor or event organizer sign off on your contributions. Staying organized ensures your hard work counts! Also, don’t forget to send photos and a recap to Cookies for Kids’ Cancer by emailing abigail@beagoodcookie.org and marissa@beagoodcookie.org.
