What We Learned From the 2025 Good Cookie Challenge (And How You Can Join Next Year)
As the 2025 Good Cookie Challenge comes to a close, we’re reflecting on everything we’ve learned and celebrating the incredible impact our participants made.
This year, 78 Good Cookies stepped up to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research. This summer fundraising challenge encouraged participants to move 47 miles in honor of the 47 children diagnosed with cancer every day in the United States. Whether it was morning jogs, weekend hikes or evening dog walks, every mile moved brought us closer to a future where every kid with cancer has the chance to grow up.
How We Moved for Childhood Cancer Awareness This Summer:
-
🏃 Number of Participants: 78
-
👟 Total Miles Moved: 4,176
-
💛 Funds Raised for Childhood Cancer Research: Over $25,000
None of this would have been possible without the generosity of every donor who pledged support. Whether you gave $5 or $50, you helped turn every mile into meaningful impact, and we’re so grateful.
One important lesson we learned this year is the power of sharing your Good Cookie Challenge journey on social media. Participants who posted updates, photos and stories about their miles not only motivated themselves but also inspired friends, family and even strangers to join the cause or donate. Being open about your progress creates a ripple effect of support and awareness that helps amplify the impact far beyond just the miles moved. So don’t hesitate to share your story, your voice matters!
We’re so proud of what our community achieved. The miles logged aren’t just numbers; they represent awareness and real action in the fight against childhood cancer.
And the best part? We’re doing it again next year.
The Good Cookie Challenge will be back in summer 2026, and we want you to be part of it. Mark your calendars, rally your friends and get ready to move with meaning.
Thank you for being part of this movement. 🎗️
