Chad

In November of 1995, our two and a half year old son, Chad, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. The cancer was in his right kidney and lungs. He was immediately put on chemotherapy to help shrink the cancer for surgery. But in December, Chad was forced to undergo immediate surgery to remove what they could due to right kidney failure. He remained in the ICU until that following February. He was in and out of the hospital for surgeries, treatment and rehabilitation. On June 3, 1996, Chad finished his race here on earth.

Supporters of Cookies for Kids’ Cancer provide hope for the many children who are fighting a battle like Chad. We need better treatments and that can only happen with increased funding.
