Xander
Although diagnosed with grade C unilateral intraocular retinoblastoma in March of 2017, Xander Foy is a happy little boy with an unbreakable spirit! In February, Xander's mom (teacher) and dad (farmer) took him to his pediatrician after seeing a distinct glow in his right eye. His pediatrician then sent him immediately to a local pediatric ophthalmologist where his tumor was first discovered.
Xander was referred to a specialist at St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis Tennessee. He was diagnosed and began treatment immediately. He has since lost vision in that eye and his motility is getting weaker. He is currently in the middle of his treatment and his body is responding as expected.
In between treatments Xander enjoys spending time with his older sisters, swimming, and playing ball with his daddy!
