In March 2011, 2 1/2 year old Haldora was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Given only a 70% chance of surviving the next 5 years, she endured countless treatments and procedures - she was quite a fighter. Sometimes we have an idea for how a recipe should come out and we make it three or four times to get it right. Sometimes we nail it on the first try.
