Angela Pinkerton

Chef Angela Pinkerton is a James Beard award-winning Pastry Chef with a background in seasonally driven restaurants, contemporary bakeries, and haute cuisine (Che Fico (SF), Craftsman & Wolves (SF), and Eleven Madison Park (NYC)). She credits her grandmother Theorita, a pie baker and hobby orchardist, for inspiring her love of baking, and igniting her obsession for pie. When it came time for Chef Angela to dive into her first solo venture, there was no question what she would be baking. “Pie Society”, her highly curated and seasonally driven pie shop debuted mid 2020, thrilling and indulging her San Francisco Bay community.

Yearning to be closer to family, Chef Angela recently moved back East, happily landing in New York’s Hudson Valley.  She and her team look forward to welcoming you into her new bakery, simply named “Pinkerton’s” which is set to open this October (2024) in the vibrant and artsy upstate city of Kingston, NY. Housed in a 1920’s Art Moderne styled and reconfigured service station, Pinkerton’s will offer a small breakfast and lunch menu, morning pastries and nostalgic desserts featuring locally grown, seasonal produce and fresh milled flours. And you can bet, there will definitely be pie.
