Stefanie Morgado
Owner/ Pastry Chef, The Baker’s Daughter
Pastry Chef Stefanie Morgado started her career in Thomas Keller’s Michelin-starred New York restaurant, Per Se.
She went on to join the opening team of Bouchon Bakery in NYC’s Time Warner Center, earning the position of Pastry Sous Chef.
Stefanie joined Patina Restaurant Group with the opening of Lincoln Ristorante. As Pastry Sous Chef, she worked alongside Pastry Chef Richard Capizzi.
Under the guidance of Chef Capizzi, Stefanie opened Stella 34 Trattoria.
Throughout her ten-year tenure, she opened and oversaw five Patina operated outlets within the Macy’s flagship store on 34th Street, ultimately earning the position of Executive Pastry Chef.
She opened The Baker’s Daughter in 2022, working alongside her father, a bread baker from Portugal who immigrated to the US in the early 1970’s.
She is a wife and proud mom to Frankie and Julia Rose.
