Kara Blitz returned to Lincoln Ristorante in 2023 to lead the pastry program as well as provide direction to the Metropolitan Opera. She was Lincoln’s Pastry Sous Chef previously, under her mentor, the prolific Richard Capizzi.  She enjoys switching between the worlds of fast-paced restaurant work and the rhythm of the bakery. Her resulting array of enticing desserts are made daily in her pastry kitchen at Lincoln Center.
