Miro Uskokovich
Miro Uskokovic, a James Beard Foundation Award-nominated pastry chef, has a rich professional background. He has previously worked as an Executive Pastry Chef at Danny Meyer's Gramercy Tavern and Untitled, as well as Michelin-starred Jean-Georges, Aldea, and Wallse. He was also a pastry consultant for Delmonico's, America's oldest fine-dining restaurant. Miro's journey began on a family farm in Serbia, leading him to America, where he first attended high school and later trained at the Culinary Institute of America. His work has been recognized by leading media publications, with Pete Wells of the New York Times praising his creations across three restaurants. In 2015, Miro was named one of the Dessert Professional Magazine America's Top 10 Pastry Chefs, further solidifying his reputation in the industry. He is currently working on his first independent project, Hani’s, an American-style bakery and cafe set to open this fall in the vibrant East Village neighborhood, promising a culinary experience that is both familiar and exciting.
