Brittney “Stikxz” Williams
Chef Brittney "Stikxz" Williams is the culinary director of Miss Lily’s 7A in New York’s East Village neighborhood, where she blends innovation and tradition to redefine contemporary Caribbean cuisine. Born and raised in Queens, NY, of Jamaican descent, she honed her skills in both front and back of house at New York-based Michelin-starred restaurants, including Jungsik and Eleven Madison Park, before forging her own path. In 2025, she announced a new venture alongside chef Camari Mick: L’Atelier Ébène, an Afro-Caribbean Brasserie set to open in Manhattan in fall 2026. A self-taught chef who studied at Kingsborough Community College in the Culinary Arts Program, Chef Stikxz launched her catering company, BWC Catering, in 2015, curating immersive dining experiences that celebrate the vibrancy of Jamaican flavors. She has since become a sought-after private chef for professional athletes and has hosted pop-up dinners in some of New York’s most renowned kitchens, including Momofuku Ko, Nudibranch, Hav & Mar, the Musket Room, Lula Mae, and Cadence, among others. At Miss Lily’s 7A, chef Stikxz pushes the boundaries of Caribbean cuisine, infusing classic dishes with modern techniques and unexpected flavors while staying true to the heart of Jamaican cooking. Passionate about sustainability and authenticity, she sources ingredients locally where possible, including from her father’s farm in Queens, NY. Beyond the kitchen, she is dedicated to food styling, recipe development and cultural advocacy, helping to shape the future of Jamaican cuisine, embodying the ethos of “out of many, one people” in every dish she creates. Chef Stikxz has been featured in various media outlets, including Essence, Forbes and TODAY.com, and has frequently appeared on the Food Network, most recently competing in the culinary competition show, Ciao House.
